As others have said, it may be that they would only have bothered if they thought they could have got some publicity out of paying their respects publicly. With heavyweights like Brian May, Gene Simmons, Ozzy, Metallica and Geezer paying tribute, who'd give CQ any airtime? You could be right, Quo are strictly second division when mentioned amongst that lot.

The last of the greatest run of albums ever. From the Dog through to OTL.

Ok for you, but for me and I suspect many others, they were still definitely in the Premier League until at least when John left. I agree album wise though their top of the league zenith may have been OTL!
