She Don't Fool me, Get out and Walk, Resurrection, Dear John....some great tracks on this much maligned album. I'll take it over any album that followed it.Isn't that rather like trying to select the sweetest smelling turd?

When it came out, I found it very catchy and melodic. Okay not heavy Quo in the purist sense but I remember playing it a lot. And I can remember all the tracks in a way that I can't from other albums around this time.

I assume you have sunstroke?.....it's a shite album - although I take your point about those that followed. Hehe. Maybe it's Nostalgia. I was 12 and really getting into Quo at that point. Liked the album, as well as the 'From the Makers of' boxset.

Get out and Walk is probably the best song on it. And I always liked Doesn't Matter, it's one of those dry songs they are so good at. But of course I always liked Big Man so my views probably are not very typical, I've been told

I feel this album is dated, quite literally.

I know the track isn't liked much generally, but I never minded the track at all and actually quite like it.

I listened to 1982 today in the car and enjoyed it as always. Ive been playing all there albums in chronological order and loved them all. It properly helped that I was too young to remember the frantic four era so I grew up just buying all there back catalogue in the early 90's and enjoyed them for what they were not judging them on previous albums as I bought them in no particular order. ROATW was the first Quo album I got which got me into the band then I got some of the 60's compilations then I think it was perfect remedy next and none of those songs put me off Quo!!
