Did you get one? Sorry first chance to post, no time and no mobile data... No I didn't get a groupon ticket, but I did get a cheap viagogo one this afternoon. Only thing was I had to collect it in town and got lost. Right pain but I got there in the end. Worth all the hassle to meet up with my new Quo friend. Not going to review the gig but people around seemed to be enjoying themselves. Was it full?

Yes, that's what I was wondering too. But with tickets going for 90p...

Am I being picky? "Francis Rossi and Richie Malone plug their Strats back in and chug their way through their familiar pub-boogie shuffle for their loyal fanbase. " Anyway, back to the OP, no you're not being picky. It's annoying when these sort of errors are made but I suppose the Internet is just too big for everything to be monitored. People are inputting information that they clearly don't know anything about. It is upsetting though to see Rick still on advertising for Quo shows. Oh and apparently I bought a ticket for Aquostic yesterday.... You’d be surprised!

It looked quite full from the front where I was but I couldnt see how full the upper tier was. So at best the attendance is down 50 percent on recent gigs in London. But clearly more than 50 percent.

That is really interesting and answers the question that Viagogo refused to answer to me ... I looked in impulse, and thought, at least the tickets are cheap (£10 each listed, but they pile some charges on top) BUT where do we have to go to get them? I emailed asking if this was "collect at venue" and got a response back giving details of a booking I made for ZZ Top in 2015 - telling me not to worry, they are downloadable, and enjoy my gig in 2015. (It SAID 2015, so the person who sent that knew what he was doing.) This lines up with shit/evasive/fuck off responses I have had from them in the past. They won't tell you anything until you have already ordered the tickets - by which time of course if doing the pickup isn't feasible, it's too late. Would you mind telling me where you had to go to collect them? It would probably have been feasible for us, as I know central London fairly well ... in 2015 it would not have been as the gig was at Wembley. In those days you could with a bit of flannel get through to someone on the phone line, but they have made sure that you now can't. Anyway I responded that I knew what they were doing and they could stuff it. And then had a nice roast dinner and watched Have I Got News For You on telly. Hi Mrs F. Yes it was about 4.30 when I decided to look again. Viagogo had a ticket amazingly at 90p, I didn't believe it. I knew there would be fees but decided if I could get it I would go. I went through the booking procedure and then half way through it said it had to be collected in Soho and full address would be available before checkout. I nearly changed my mind but carried on. The address for collection was MAIL BOX ETC. for anyone's future reference it is MBE Soho, 15 Ingestre Place, London W1F 0DU I paid the princely sum of €7.34! I looked at the help pages to see if I could get the ticket by email or at Hammersmith but there did not seem to be that option. Maybe I should have contacted them but time was short and I knew I would have to leave straight away to get there before the office closed at 7.00. Anyway, after an stressful journey I finally made it! Thank you Viv, that is great news for you, and answers all my questions. (It also indicates that you can pull out of the sale if you aren't able to go and collect ... WHY on earth they won't explain that to people who ask, is beyond me. My guess is that their agents have been told not to answer questions about specific gigs to people who don't have an order number, and will just say anything off the files. If tickets are downloadable, it will say so before you buy them, and I realise now that the tickets won't be collectable at the venue, as they are nowt to do with the venue - they are all tickets that have been sent in by people who can't go and are trying to sell them on. I have no objection to that, I would just appreciate better customer service. I can't see why they would put off a potential customer when they could give a helpful answer without revealing anything confidential. This is the first year in 35 years that I have missed Quo. (This is not Viagogo's fault, they just failed to facilitate a last minute possible change of mind. I was already decided to leave it to fate, and fate has spoken.) I am still not 100% why, but for some reason I "needed to". They gave a perfectly good show with Richie last year, and one no better, strictly speaking, with Rick the year before. But the fact is, the absence of Rick has made a difference, mainly as a singer, I do think, like the loss of Alan in the 80s. I know this sounds UNBELIEVABLY OBVIOUS but it wasn't obvious enough to me that the difference would be enough to keep me away. And indeed if everything had run smoothly, it wouldn't have done. I think the tell tale evidence is that I was not prepared to bust a gut to get myself and himself to Hammersmith, the way I would have been any year up to very recently. That means I don't feel about the band now, the way I used to. The other side of this (in case anyone thinks I have seen the light in some way) is that bits of last year's show, and the reunion, shows me that Francis still has it when he tries, and still fascinates me as a performer and singer. When I will have a chance to see that in action again, I don't know. I'm not obsessed by the notion that I may have seen "Quo" for the last time. If they return after next year, I may still be there for them, but I have a feeling that they will have to produce something better and fresher than they have been doing. And it would help if he stopped Messing Aroun'with Roll Over Lay Down. That is what has taken some of the energy out of their performance for me.

There weren't a huge number of tickets still unsold on the Apollo website yesterday. A few rows. I don't know if that showed allocations to other ticket sellers, but i would have thought by that time all the available tickets would have been on the venue site. I suspect the confusion caused by changing from Aquostic to Electric has had a bigger effect than anything else keeping people away who might otherwise have booked earlier as part of their December rock season.

The stalls looked pretty full from what I could see. When I arrived I found my row, central near the back with a few empty seats. But then I spotted my friend and we stood along the back wall.
