Am I being picky? "Francis Rossi and Richie Malone plug their Strats back in and chug their way through their familiar pub-boogie shuffle for their loyal fanbase. "

" Yeah, Quo and their famous crossed Stratocasters. I also think last night it said Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt. No one thought to amend the date of 2016 when they amended the names.

Someone's getting paid for that... And the management, isn't there some kind of whatsitcalled proof reading somewhere? Oh, I'm spitting feathers...

I'm sure Francis is delighted to have it called "pub-boogie shuffle".

Strangely enough one of the best Quo reviews I read about Quo was in time out circa 1982.The bloke they sent knew nothing about them and reviewed songs called Lady and Be My Friend but said the audience loved it and he had a great time.....must have been sacked next day.

Just looking.... Offer for Groupon tickets at £26 finishes in 25 minutes Did you get one? Sorry first chance to post, no time and no mobile data... No I didn't get a groupon ticket, but I did get a cheap viagogo one this afternoon. Only thing was I had to collect it in town and got lost. Right pain but I got there in the end. Worth all the hassle to meet up with my new Quo friend. Not going to review the gig but people around seemed to be enjoying themselves.

Not going to review the gig but people around seemed to be enjoying themselves. That is really interesting and answers the question that Viagogo refused to answer to me ... I looked in impulse, and thought, at least the tickets are cheap (£10 each listed, but they pile some charges on top) BUT where do we have to go to get them? I emailed asking if this was "collect at venue" and got a response back giving details of a booking I made for ZZ Top in 2015 - telling me not to worry, they are downloadable, and enjoy my gig in 2015. (It SAID 2015, so the person who sent that knew what he was doing.) This lines up with shit/evasive/fuck off responses I have had from them in the past. They won't tell you anything until you have already ordered the tickets - by which time of course if doing the pickup isn't feasible, it's too late. Would you mind telling me where you had to go to collect them? It would probably have been feasible for us, as I know central London fairly well ... in 2015 it would not have been as the gig was at Wembley. In those days you could with a bit of flannel get through to someone on the phone line, but they have made sure that you now can't. Anyway I responded that I knew what they were doing and they could stuff it. And then had a nice roast dinner and watched Have I Got News For You on telly.

Yes it was about 4.30 when I decided to look again. Viagogo had a ticket amazingly at 90p, I didn't believe it. I knew there would be fees but decided if I could get it I would go. I went through the booking procedure and then half way through it said it had to be collected in Soho and full address would be available before checkout. I nearly changed my mind but carried on. The address for collection was MAIL BOX ETC. for anyone's future reference it is MBE Soho, 15 Ingestre Place, London W1F 0DU I paid the princely sum of €7.34! I looked at the help pages to see if I could get the ticket by email or at Hammersmith but there did not seem to be that option. Maybe I should have contacted them but time was short and I knew I would have to leave straight away to get there before the office closed at 7.00. Anyway, after an stressful journey I finally made it!

" Anyway, back to the OP, no you're not being picky. It's annoying when these sort of errors are made but I suppose the Internet is just too big for everything to be monitored. People are inputting information that they clearly don't know anything about. It is upsetting though to see Rick still on advertising for Quo shows. Oh and apparently I bought a ticket for Aquostic yesterday....
