Hi guys! It's nearly Christmas and as a special treat I have just watched Scrooge with the marvelous Alastair Sim. It made me think. Can we all sometimes identify with this story?
Francis is a smashing bloke but he does have the humbug attitude of Scrooge sometimes. He loves money and just wants more and more. He does not like nostalgia and thinking about the past. He hates Christmas and the song that Richard wrote.
I see a parallel and maybe by tomorrow Francis will see it all differently like Scrooge did. Imagine how good it could be if Francis was enjoying it and thinking about that Skype Sontaran call to Alan and John...
Frank is an insecure show off gentleman who needs to be shown much appreciation.
Anyrate guys, the sprouts need to be prepared for the big day. Remember to do the funky turkey for long enough in the oven. The juices should run clear. The ham should be boiled then roasted.
Merry Christmas everybody and see you out there somewhere soon!
There's a He-Man jelly on the roof!

It's a massive bore in the Edwards household this Christmas. The cracker jokes won't seem so bad after they've listened to Rhino's honking patter (or his album).

I suggest you dress up as the Ghost of Albums Past and haunt Mr Rossi tonight, and thus try to persuade him to produce a rockin' good CD by next Christmas. Ha, funny thinking of Rossi as Scrooge. Yeah, who would visit him during the night, would it be Alan, John and Bob? Another three?

Yeah, who would visit him during the night, would it be Alan, John and Bob? Another three? The Ghost of Christmas Past would be The Dog Of Two Head, The Ghost of Christmas Present would be an unused ticket to the Aquostic tour, and The Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come would be the cover photo of Aquostic 2, the one that shows him the gravestone with his name on it.

To answer the OP. No. I know he hates his own birthday but does he hate Christmas? I don't think so. He has a big family meal each year which I gather he really enjoys. His not liking Christmas songs is another matter. I'm not convinced he's mean either.

The topic was tongue in cheek anyway and could in theory have been subject to some Mustang careful editing , but joking apart, its worth joking about and not taking seriously Many answers have been quite marvellously jolly in this respect

You shouldn't be saying stuff like John, you'll get left behind like poor old Al.
