As a regular Facebooker and long term Quo Fan, the continual barrage of abuse, mainly aimed at Francis Rossi and Simon Porter, is disappointing but until the Band (Rossi) calls it a day, I don't see anything changing, personally I'd rather look at Spud's FB page for news, you know with JC it wasn't about the Money (or slating your old Band mates like Francis does )

Last year..........
Francis Rossi added, "We’ve talked about it for some time and have decided that it’s time for us to hang up the electrics. It’s getting harder and harder for us to play those shows. It’s 30 years since we last said we were stopping but this is a final decision. It doesn’t mean we won’t do other things, perhaps the odd special, but we’re agreed that the moment has come. There’s more to come from us in the years ahead, but we won’t tour the electric set ever again."
Aye right......... END OF, LAST OF, FINAL etc etc. Then of course, always the inevitable change of mind. This is the sort of thing that gets the backs up of people, and rightly so.

They'd fallen out with each other and couldn't work with each other anymore.
I could see that, as a punter. You just had to watch Rick on stage in March 2013 & 2014, and then watch him on stage on the winter tours.
One gig was like watching a revitalised and motivated guy who was enjoying rocking out, and the winter tours were just so sad to witness. He was on autopilot cabaret mode, doing the same songs in the same order.
We had Bula Quo in 2013, and then Status Quo Live in 2014 and then Accept No Substitute in 2015. It was tangibly fading out.
Rick was driving himself around the UK on the 2015 tour, rather than be on the tour bus. That was either something to do with forcing himself to drink less so that he would be capable of driving the next day, or it was that he didn't want to be on the bus with the rest of the band. Or both.
As soon as the winter tour had finished in 2015, just over a month later at the start of February 2016, that's when they announced TLNOTE.
That must have been in the pipeline for a long time. All those photos they took of them shaking hands and walking away from each other.
It was obvious what was going on.
And the fact that they are continuing now, just further backs up all that I've said.

That story about him being drunk on a night out in Spain back years ago and venting his frustration and anger over Rossi... On topic, saw a comment on there yesterday. "If you don't like it, stick your head in the oven" Didn't realise Mr and Mrs Smith were so aggressive and obsessive

And how Rick comes across in the Final Fling Documentary shows how passionate he was about carrying on those gigs rocking out not karaoke style. Yet Rossi is smug happy throughout the entire docu as he knows he has again got what he wanted.

On topic, saw a comment on there yesterday. "If you don't like it, stick your head in the oven" Didn't realise Mr and Mrs Smith were so aggressive and obsessive That comment alone says it all. Unable to come up with words of their own, they use a phrase they most definitely heard from someone else, which they think is clever. Much like the bulls**t that is spouted by Porter, it soon becomes a soundbite amongst the fans because people believe it to be true and from a reputable source.
