With just over three weeks to go until the first gig on the Gold Coast, sales are a bit variable across the tour. The gig at Melbourne's Hamer Hall has been getting a lot of local radio advertising recently and that seems to have really worked, with there now only being around 100 tickets left for this show. Sydney Opera House has sold well, with the entire Stalls sold out and available seats are now about halfway back in the top Circle section. At The Star Gold Coast, the front sections of the stalls are all sold out but this is not a huge area and good seats are available pretty much anywhere else for the venue. The gig at Newcastle Civic Theatre was a late addition to the schedule and a surprising one really, given that it's pretty close geographically to Sydney and has also set the band up for three nights in a row (Gold Coast, then Newcastle, then Sydney) which is a situation they very rarely put themselves in these days. In terms of ticket sales, this looks to be poorly sold at the moment, with a quick search revealing seats available about a dozen rows back in the stalls. Thanks Lee, enjoy the tour. Btw, are you going on the cruise as well? The support acts look really good imo. No cruise for me, but will stay in Sydney on the Monday to see it off (it's leaving from Circular Quay).

The problem with Newcastle is that is got announced well after Sydney. Those of us hardcore that live that way had already got tix for Sydney. Will probably do Newy but will not buy tix till the last minute.
Still remember Quo's three night bender on the Heavy Traffic tour - Newcastle, Gosford and Sydney on consecutive nights. It was easy with tickets at $40 each.

Still got the Heavy Traffic tour poster & signed before the Sydney gig at a music shop in Manly I think it was, where they appeared with photo & sign.

Out of curiosity therockdoctor , how are the ticket sales going for the upcoming Aussie tour of Quo? I haven't heard or seen any publicity for the tour. (apart from Quo sites) With just over three weeks to go until the first gig on the Gold Coast, sales are a bit variable across the tour. The gig at Melbourne's Hamer Hall has been getting a lot of local radio advertising recently and that seems to have really worked, with there now only being around 100 tickets left for this show. In terms of ticket sales, this looks to be poorly sold at the moment, with a quick search revealing seats available about a dozen rows back in the stalls. With Newcastle tickets still available from the stalls at 12 rows back it is an embarrassing situation with only a few weeks left...I guess it's too late to pull out of this gig as was the case in Auckland with the 'schedule conflict' due to poor sales.

Full interview is now up, Thanks rock, I wonder why young Ritchie been promoted next to Francis, for interviews, over very long time members Andy and Rhino. I can foresee Ritchie eventually being the frontman for Quo once Francis steps down and he is replaced....

It must be so boring to be asked the same questions.

Bit disrespectful to Rick there with the whole "big shoes to fill" and the two of them smugly pointing at his feet.
But, I've come to expect that with them tbh

I've not noticed it before but in that still he looks lot like Ronan Keating.

I've grown to hate interviews with Francis, he's such a one trick pony.

Yes, what I used to enjoy about him has become annoying the older he has got. Does he have to try to be funny and get attention through exaggerated behaviour and face/body language in every interview?
Leave the ego at home Francis..it is past boring
As an edit, I agree that Ritchie is very much a comparison with Ronan Keating!
