At last! Only about thirty-five & a half years to wait! Maybe we'll see the EOTR MK Bowl gig before the end of the decade ......

Who do they actually pay to do these fucking awful designs? cause they are wasting their money! And how much do you want to bet that it's just as bad as the Live at The BBC version, with Rossi's chats removed and the jig section of Roadhouse Blues being fucked up

Presumably this will be deliberately under-promoted like everything else "old band" related.

Y'know what... they're missing the opportunity to get more money out of this.
Fuck the cd, where's the DVD and why aren't the doing a special/deluxe edition with all of them combined? Think more people would be interested in a Bluray of the gig than a CD/Vinyl

When I say "very unfair" I actually mean "perfectly reasonable", of course. Still, you have to live in hope ......

I can guarantee they'll use the wrong version of Hold You Back, like they have done for the past 35 years on any release... and it stands out like a sore thumb

The sound should be better than the BBC version as that wasnt remixed. This is remastered but I hope the sound is better than the lnote as that sounded terrible.

Think more people would be interested in a Bluray of the gig than a CD/Vinyl I agree somewhat - my main interest is in listening to their performance rather than watching it, but I'd probably buy a deluxe 2cd + dvd/bluray edition. Perhaps that'll be released on the 10th anniversary of this release, or the 50th anniversary of the event!

But I'm sure they will use the same one they akways have from the other night they played there.

But I'm sure they will use the same one they akways have from the other night they played there. The version they always use from the first night, he chats about the crowd being half a second short and that they've relaxed a bit too much... and liked you said on the actual night he mentions an opal fruit. The only reason I can see as to why they use the 1st night version (which also means that gig was recorded, cause it's a bit silly just to have one track recorded... right) is because something twats rossi's guitar on the final jig bit and causes him to mess up. On the original VHS release this had been fixed either by overdubbing or simply using his playing from an earlier section

I've sent Steve Hammond an E-mail regarding this release, and asked as to why there isn't a DVD of the gig being released... I mean Rossi wants money doesn't he? so why isn't he milking this release to its fullest!

Yep, I'd love a full uncut remastered dvd/bluray of this gig!!!!
Come on management, get on it.
Also, Quoincidence, your use of the Glasgow Roll Over Lay Down over the video footage from this gig sounds ace through my tv on YouTube!!!!!! Is it me or are Rossi's lead breaks a bit better on that version than the NEC one?
