Quoincidence Totally agree about Forty Five Hundred Times, it still gives me chills and was Pete's absolute finest hour, I was always sorry he never got the job post 85, he was far better suited to Quo's sound than Shirley Temple and was just getting into his stride. Andy Bown has always been an absolute legend live and a massively talented musician while being the humblest and most gentlemanly of guys. It would have been great if Pete could have stuck around after 1985... sadly he didn't. I wonder if he ever got a call to say he wouldn't, or if he was forgotten about altogether. In '84 he was definitely more settled into Quo than he was in '82 and was a great drummer without a doubt, don't get why he gets some of the hate that he does/has done... then again I thinks it's purely down to the fact he replaced Coghlan, he couldn't of done right no matter what in some peoples eyes. And like you said Forty Five Hundred Times is his finest hour without a doubt! Agree with what you say about Andy... always liked him, fair enough with the arguments that he's too loud in the mix (sometimes) but it's not his fault at the end of the day... Great musician.

Back then Pete was in the same situation that Richie is in now, trying to step into the shoes of a much loved legend so haters coming out of the woodwork is inevitable, the sad thing is with them getting so much unfair shit flung in their direction is that both were infinitely better fits for Quo than Rhino, who was like getting a beach ride donkey and thinking it was capable of winning the Grand National.

For the past hour or so uploading this audio, I've had so much hassle from the track Down Down... It's corrupt around 16 seconds in... plays before and after perfectly fine but it reaches that spot and it crashes my whole computer... so I'm going to quickly sort that out and get it uploaded. Pain in the arseHere it is! at last... Milton Keynes Download LinkEnjoy!

It was a great day although bitter sweet at the time as it was supposed to be the final gig and I thought at the time it would be the last time I'd see the band live.

Now you're making me cry.
The last great Quo gig up until Hammersmith 2013.
Down front was nuts. I was literally worried for my life sometimes due to the crush and frenzy. All worth it though of course!

Anyone else love the way you got in your motor and were able to glide out the car park hassle free ?

Great picture, hey Quoincidence how's the "project" going ? Cheers It's going ok... the first dvd test was a bit bad as the footage had a wobble to it, must have been a rendering issue. Overall, it's 8gb for some reason? so that needs sorting but I'm not sure why its that large.
