Sounds hollow now.
In many ways it might have been for the best if it had been.

No JC but still a fantastic gig
- after the 79, 81, 82 and 84 gigs I did go to some Quo gigs in the 90s and 00s - but for me looking back, EOTR at MK was probably the day that Quo's real "soul" finally died...
...it was only temporarily revived in 2013/14.....

It was a great day although bitter sweet at the time as it was supposed to be the final gig and I thought at the time it would be the last time I'd see the band live. Can't believe that it was so long ago!!

Can't believe that it was so long ago!! The good news is we still get to see Quo live if we want to, so long after it all felt like the end. Great to see you still enjoying seeing the band so much, you should pop over to Oz to tour with us mate.

Yeah, at the time it was definitely bittersweet for me cos at the time it was gonna be my 1st AND last tour (age 12), and can honestly say I have fonder memories from those 2 Brid gigs in '84, than any from '86-'15 CQ gigs, (obviously apart from the spring mini-tours of '13 & '14!)..

Thought I'd add as well that I hope someone took a shot of the final bow... Pete and Andy left the stage whilst Rick, Francis and Alan took to the centre. Only ever seen it on the bootleg footage from the back of the crowd...

Never mind all that shit.....I wonder what the female with the epic legs and tight white shorts looks like now.... Highlight of the video, that was. She probably uses a zimmer frame now!!

They had so many cameras to capture the gig and it's a shame how little amount of footage was used from some of them. The heli cam that got shots prior to the gig, and returned around the end of Hold You Back and circled the bowl before they started RAOTW. You can see a shot from this section used during the Keep Right On bit during the More From The Road Intro. The one on the crane right at the back of the bowl was only used a couple of times Would loved to have seen more shots from the camera(s) in the crowd And the camera in the rigging to the right of the stage (from the crowd, left if you was stood on stage)

30 minutes... until I grace this thread with a download to the Milton Keynes gig audio. 33 years today so why not, eh? Don't get too excited, 23 isn't the number of tracks... it'll be little album art bits that upload with the folder... there's just the 18 tracks, including the Keep Right On intro Enjoy the wait

Quoincidence Totally agree about Forty Five Hundred Times, it still gives me chills and was Pete's absolute finest hour, I was always sorry he never got the job post 85, he was far better suited to Quo's sound than Shirley Temple and was just getting into his stride. Andy Bown has always been an absolute legend live and a massively talented musician while being the humblest and most gentlemanly of guys.
