my favorite In The Army Now performances are Knebworth 90 and Live Alive Quo this version is crap lacking so much compared to those versions It's missing... Jeff Rich's tight, excellent drumming It's missing... A rich guitar tone! compared to the overly compressed sound they've had for a while It's missing... Ricks chugging and his powerful right arm Their performance as a whole, is lacking passion

Leon has a very anonymous style alot of the time and he looks half asleep during this performance, the guitar balance is all wrong but this has been discussed at great length with Francis insisting he was raised in the mix and rhythm guitar lowered immediately after Rick's departure, it was the same when Freddie initially stepped in too. The best performances I've seen were with Matt on drums, great rock sound and someone who understood tempo and wasn't a galloper like Shirley Temple.

The best bit of ITAN is when it is finished coz it really is one of the worst songs Quo have ever recorded/played live Cheers
