Apologies if this has been asked previously, but finally got hold of a dvd copy. Half way through FR switches guitars and announces DD, but it cuts straight to BFM, any of you guys know why?

Just an awful job from the editors and simply chopped from the original airing of the gig. If the tapes even still exist, Down Down will be on them... And it'd be the first recorded performance of it

As far as I know this was the first time ever they played Down Down live and after this gig it wouldn't appear in the setlist again until the RAOTW-tour in 1977. Two questions rise in my head: 1: was DD their absolutely first hit and breakthrough in Spain or why did they try it there only? 2: didn't it work at all live? Were there maybe even some bigger f••K-up during the song which made them hesitate for another two years until they tried again? May this "possible f••K-up" be the reason why it was ommited from the spanish tv-broadcast?
Is there any bootleg (audience tape-recording) from this gig were we can hear what happened? Or maybe some spanish fan who was at the gig and can give us some info?

I always thought it was weird that Down Down, wasn't performed at the Southend Kursaal, in 1975, where it had been at #1 a month earlier in the UK singles chart and On The Level was currently sitting on top of the album charts.
