That's great, Mac ... I got a big shiver all over when he says 'why don't you raise your glass for Rick 'cause I'm raising mine!'

The autotune ain't great, either's the overly repetitive structure. They're other stuff's great but I was quite disappointed by this. Nice tribute mind you.

Wasn't keen when I first heard it a couple weeks back on soundcloud, but after a couple more listens I got to liking it... and pre-ordered the single release a couple days ago.
Great video as well... that bit at the end is from the Just Doin' It DVD isn't it? I'm not too sure where it's from actually... Birmingham 2008 gig perhaps? that was filmed looks more like 2010 at best either way... more footage to tease us with but never release I guess
Edit;
Explaining why they penned ‘Back To The Stack’, Massive Wagons said: “Mortified at the passing of Rick Parfitt, we were moved to pay tribute in the best way we can; to write the man a song and send him off in our own personal way.
“Rick was integral to Status Quo, a band whose songwriting, live presence and spirit heavily influenced ourselves, as well as bringing millions of others great pleasure, we feel it's the least we could do.
"‘Back To The Stack’ is not a sad song, it's no ballad but a heartfelt serious rocker, exactly what Rick, the hardest rocker in town, was all about."

Loved the song - agree could live without the Auto-tune part. Just bought it. Good cause for Teenage Cancer Trust & also a nice tribute to Rick.

Hi All, Great post but hasn't another thread already been posted when they were first laying down the track ? It's just a great tribute to an icon IMHO and the bands albums aren't to shabby either...
Geoff.
