Feel free to pull to pieces, then maybe after listen to the musicianship, in particular Andy, the great live sound even on an amateur video and the audience reaction - a hall full of people really into the music and loving it.

I've seen more enthusiasm from a crowd in a Southend pub watching a rock cover's band.

I'm so thankful we got those reunion shows.
With all that's happened since, Bula Quo, LNOTE, Rick's passing... those shows have become even more precious to me.
But, erm, you know, with respect to these CQ 2017 shows, I mean, erm, at least they're really well rehearsed and all that. People attending these shows will be able to look back at their iphone video clips and reflect on how enthusiastic the band were, and the super white cleanliness of the band's trainers.

Two entirely different audiences for two entirely different types of gigs and a few who will go to both , neither set is "wrong" for liking their particular gig, it's down to personal taste and in alot of cases age, though not sure where being in my sixties puts me. You may not like what the band are doing now, or the line up, or whatever, but have a little respect for people who pay good money to go and see them and have a great time when they do, it's their choice and it makes them happy.

Well said young man and there is nothing wrong in liking both.

Quo fans don't go to gigs anymore... It's casuals that go just to hear Whatever You Want and Rockin' All Over The World... the rest of the set they couldnt give a toss about, as well as the history of the band. Half of the time you can spot who the are by remarks of, 'Oh I liked that first track they played... what was it called again? Sweet Caroline?'.

One question though....WHY do casuals pay expensive tickets to see/hear those tracks? The songs are nothing but a bore....and sounds shite.IMHO

Probably so when theyre next at a party and one of those tracks come on they can say 'Ooo we've seen these live', and guess their name endlessly until they get it right. I can't stand the live sound Quo have had for the past god knows how many years... they used to have a tinker with their settings every now and then throughout the years, but for the past few years its sounded to distorted and compressed... nothing to it, just dull sounding

Quo have always been the easiest band to be snobby about.
Tis a shame they've allowed their fanbase to become divided in this way too.
