Not convinced there was no time to cancel and just what would have been involved and how much? youre making your opinion sound like fact I think. or are you in the know? Not in the know but being a realist, I have said before Michael Jackson's death cost the music industry millions. So these days cancellation of signed contracts is very expensive. Camera crews used at gigs are booked months in advance they would not want to be out of pocket because a band could not perform. So someone would have to have paid them regardless and with Rick being uninsurable at the time. It would have come out of the bands pocket. So if MJ was still alive this release wouldn't have happened is that what your sayin?

Rain sung karoke style Rhino erm no thanks vomit_100_107 vomit_100_107 vomit_100_107 A that song should not be played this year & B they should of took songs out of the Setlist which are sung by Rick after he had his heart attack last year & having seen enough clips on YT of Rhino singing its embarrassing and a mockery of those Rick songs being used in the same setlist. Too true

The gig must look erm... great? they had one camera in the pit, camera crane, one behind the drums and then the rest (2 I think) were in the crowd at the back..... 5 angles to choose from, how exciting.
Whereas they have plenty of other gigs that need re-releasing on DVD/BluRay format.. for example;
N.E.C '82 (Looks like both nights were filmed and recorded) Milton Keynes (this gig itself had 10+ cameras) Brussels '86 Out in The Green '86 N.E.C '89 Knebworth 90 Minehead Anniversary gig Rock 'Til You Drop Event Live Alive Quo Don't Stop (Playback & Live Performance) Shepherds Bush (Playback & Live Performance)
Would rather see any of those rather than shite like this with no life in the performance

TBH, reading some of the facebook comments on the whole reveal... not a lot of fans are ok with this, and it's receiving a fair amount of backlash

Blimey could add a lot more to that if you look on Youtube for various News Reports etc to Find Stuff that has been recorded at Shows

They can't deny recording both NEC gigs in '82 either because, the Live At The BBC dvd version is a mix of both and the CD version has always had the Hold You Back from the other night

It's the music biz merch cookshop pies. I enjoyed the December gig pretty much but I have no interest in buying any of these. They'd better sell them while they're hot, as I think interest will wane even among the "passing trade" now.

Not when you have a member in the band who they could not get any kind of cover for regarding heart problems. Anything else fine but a Heart Attack, Angina etc. No cover so they had to carry on with the filming the same as the tour.
