We are going, it should be a great night. Be aware that according to Johns facebook site the band are on stage at 7.30pm and that they will finish at 10pm prompt!

7.30-10pm? Pretty impressive that JC can still drum for 2 and a half hours at nearly 70 years old!

Yeah of course, forgot about an interval. I must try and catch a JCQ gig if they come to Southampton again, think they came last year, the name of the venue escapes me at the moment but they have loads of live bands there.

Here's a date for your diary. 17 June at The Brook. Their next gig, down your way. I think that's where you meant.

Yep, that's the place, The Brook, definetly gonna try to go to that June 17th, would be a good night out, and not too expensive for a taxi ride home after a few beers.

Now, that really was a fantastic gig. I guess around 250-300 there, mainly `Hardcore` Quo fans. Great venue, the band knocked out some classic stuff, including Claudie and All The Reasons which according to them were only rehearsed in the dressing rooms prior to the gig! (I think NOT!). The atmosphere was akin to the Frantic Four gigs but on a smaller scale. But down the front tonite it was mental, dont I know it!

Totally unconnected really but just found out the Bryn, they guy who set up and ran the Brook has just passed away after a short illness, another good bloke from the scene lost RIP
