I didn´t know of Rick´s death until around the 31st of December. I am American (3rd tour here :-) )...and live in Panamá. I was watching Venezuelen tv (Globovision) one night when I saw them listing deaths of famous people in 2016. I was reading a book and not really paying attention, but one time when I glanced up I saw a video on the tv screen, Rhino was playing his bass......I knew at that point Rick had died, though they hadn´t mentioned it yet. They then announced his death. I was surprised he was getting ink all the way down in Venezuela. His wings were spread a little further than maybe I (we) recognized.
I want to pay my respects. I always felt Rick put more into his rhythm guitar, especially live, than any rocker that has rock & rolled since rock & roll was born. Rick seemed to give every song, every show everything he had....and he did it for over 50 years. Hard to top that.
RIP Rick, thanks, hopefully we´ll meet you in person up there one day.
Jeff

Hi All, @jeff Don't know about anybody else but it's nice to know that Rick has been so popular in so many diverse places around the world...
