I loved it when it had the humbucker... Originally his Down Down guitar and the one he uses for Down Down now used to be for Whatever You Want

Hope you like 'em! Is that the actual guitar? I only ask because the Pickup cavity at the neck seems small considering it had a Humbucker in it at one point and I don't see any filling in around it.

I think if you ask Tony when he's making you a replica he'll put fender on the headstock instead of his 'tony rockett custom'

He won't even do one with a blank headstock. And yes it is.

If I got him, to make a Rick replica, without all the scratches and wear and tear, two questions....
1. How much? 2. How would it sound?

That's an interesting observation Lord Flash! I'll see what I can find out.. Hi Lord Flash! Your answer: "As you know Mate it was not a full size humbucker, it was a mini humbucker type pickup, as was put in yours. If whoever has asked, looks very closely, you can see that it has been made slightly larger and slightly more oblong, at the front and rear of the pickup cavity. You can still see the rough edges of the wood where it has been hacked out!"

I know somebody who has two of Tony's guitars...he says they're great. One is a Schecter replica. I've not played it yet, but I will. Nice one thanks Was looking at the classic 60's series from Fender. Was thinking of getting one of them and swapping the white scratch plate for a black one. It would be handier but, if I have the money, and Tony's guitars sound good and play well, I'd splash the cash on his, to have everything right

That Schecter replica needs to be gigged, and if you do manage to meet up with quomanuk and get to borrow it for the night make sure someone gets some pictures! Will want them on Tony's site!

That's exactly what I did! This was long before I met Tony mind, but I was well pleased with the outcome! Just one thing to watch though, when I took the bridge off mine to switch to the fixed tailpiece the routing underneath was massive and I wasn't quite able to cover it with the cut-off ashtray bridge. They might not all be like that though. Some pictures of mine are here

Talking of Rick, not long before Christmas one of Tony's customers sent Tony a great picture of Rick playing his Rockett replica backstage at a gig somewhere or other just before he stopped touring I think. Then we heard the God awful news. It just didn't seem right to upload the picture to the site, but Rick is grinning from ear to ear and the chap said that he was so friendly and chatted for ages about his guitars. Rick really was a legend and a total one-off. I still can't believe he's gone.
