You do all realise that when Wolfie was referring to a great concert in 1979 in Sheffield, he was in fact referring to the Village People gig? Apparently, their Sheffield City Hall gig was a career pinnacle for them.

We must have got another 5 mins tagged onto Forty Five Hundred Times to make up for missing out on Like A Good Girl , either that or Spuds drum solo. Rossi got the set list wrong ? who knows ,other than they were mighty !

Spud on his gong.. straight from his facebook site , cannot remember if he played these on the 79 Tour. Just lucky I guess .

'79 was a good tour - the "f*cknose" merchandise and backdrop from memory? - a few from the Rockin album which later became fixed in the set ( Rockin, Hold You Back, Dirty Water ) and a couple from the Heat album - and evidently switched them around with others during the tour, especially the Heat tracks
- from memory they played You Don't Own Me at Blackpool on that '79 tour?

I didn't know they'd played You Don't Own Me, although I do remember seeing the Pirates who performed a cracking version live.
