Sitting in the front row, no wonder he's fat-lol, Seriously though that's why you cant beat the like of hammy standing, if your at the front you deserve to be at the front... should be no seats near the stage at any ''rock'' gig.!! Totally agree. I hate how the gigs are seated. Those who want to sit can sit around the sides. They could at least half the floor so there are some seats at the back of the floor or something. Why should people who wish to sit, be forced to have a worse view and sound. I need to sit if I go to a gig. The days of standing areas especially with the Quo's demographic seats are needed. As for you pushing to the front, haven't you out grown that? In my day you would have been lamped. As for involving your Mam, it made me laugh.

Well they seem to get by fine at the Bournemouth gig, which is floor standing. The view and sound from around the sides is quite good tbh. I didn't run to mummy (see what I did there ☺), she was protecting her kid from a horrible, nasty man who probably would have "lamped" me if she wouldn't have stepped in.

I think you are partly to blame: you know full well he doesn't like someone mentioning the moon landings in a dispute.

Not a bad concert. The only bad thing, as I was resting my stomach on the barrier, some wee skinny English gobshite came crashing over the seats and demanded to stand at the front. I remonstrated with him saying 'Steady on, young chap, I don't think this type of thing is cricket' and motioned he should go back from whence he came. After the concert some lady, obviously wanting some of Charlie, started flirting with me, although I couldn't understand much of what she was saying, as she spoke with an English accent. I good naturedly suggested that should go forth and multiply. Then, some weird looking chap in illfitting scruffy clothes with a speech impediment, whose name I believe was Rolf, asked if I was something to do with a 'jock six' and suggested he would send his dosser to the police. I left bemused.

We need seats. I carefully look for row ends so that himself can sit and still see. Last night in London we were one seat off the row end, and we had the only two standers in the entire block in front of us At least they were boogieing, not snogging (that is really out of order ... ) or chatting. The whole audience was keen, but really quiet, apart from about a dozen centre front ...
