I love that track, so I don't want to hear it murdered by The Francis Rossi Status Quo Show Band! They won't release anything new next year, maybe some live material at most.
I'm more interested to see what, if anything, emerges from John & Rick's stated intention to record & release new material. Be nice if they guested for each other, especially if they can get Alan involved too - I'm sure he might have one or two songs he could contribute.

Just old mates back together in the magic circle ..back to the roots. Nothing upperty. Alans the key for me.

I'd go for Cum on Feel the Noize (except when we're playing acoustic).
I've always thought that Jim Lee would have been the ideal bass player to come in in '86 but I doubt he ever would have as he's too decent a man.

If we're imagining the classic line-up, I don't care what they choose to play - I'll still buy it!

The magic circle... what sucks, Gaz is the so many in the industry including the delusional Mr Rossi feel that the magic circle is of the past, irrelevant, archaic, and stuck in the (name your decade). Music gets played by musicians who feed off one another's vibes. Can you imagine an orchestra doing Beethoven's 9th, recording each instrument separately? Crap, why is it soooo different for Mr Modern?
