It's a lovely venue. I went there in 1987 to watch Marillion. You can see me on the DVD.
Yeah, so - Quo playing in 2017. I'm expecting the usual summer dates to start appearing on tour schedules.
If it's the odd appearance at a summer festival - it's not really a 'tour' is it, in the loosest sense of the word?
They will probably be electric shows. They're playing in Zurich in 2018. They're just going to carry on playing aren't they?
They might as well have called the current tour, "Accept A Substitute - Marketing Exposed!"

Utterly shameless, 32 years after the "End of the Road Tour" Rossi pulls the same stunt again.
Only this time he actually has the nerve to announce dates while the supposed last tour hasn't even happened.
It amazes me that there are still people out there prepared to tolerate this crap.

If Francis wants to continue, as he had already alluded to in interviews, then that's fine. It is what it is, and I wouldn't be going. Well, maybe, quite partial to some ZZ Top and of course I'd watch Quo.
It's just not great is it? This whole, last ever electric shows, and then these gigs start popping up.
Hey ho.

Due to the incredible success of Aquostic 2. I would like to see ZZ Top also. But only finish they finish the night.

It was clear from the get-go that these won't be the last ever electric concerts, just the last full-length tour.

Eh? It was clear from the get-go that these won't be the last ever electric concerts, just the last full-length tour.Is that stated anywhere? From Feb this year (Before Rick's Health problem) After a handful of UK and European festivals this summer, the band will embark on a headline tour in October, which will finish up in December. They've now confirmed that this tour will be their last. In a statement on the band's official website, Rick Parfitt said, "We always thought we’d see a red light when it was time to stop. The show hurts now, physically. It’s hard to maintain that level of energy and without that it’s not really a Quo show. So we don’t feel we should continue. This is definitely the end of our lives on the road with the electric set, life won’t be the same for us – or many of the fans – but we can’t go on at this pace any more." Francis Rossi added, "We’ve talked about it for some time and have decided that it’s time for us to hang up the electrics. It’s getting harder and harder for us to play those shows. It’s 30 years since we last said we were stopping but this is a final decision. It doesn’t mean we won’t do other things, perhaps the odd special, but we’re agreed that the moment has come. There’s more to come from us in the years ahead, but we won’t tour the electric set ever again." www.gigwise.com/news/105330/status-quo-uk-european-tour-to-be-their-last-retiring-tickets
