I've always liked the song, over exposed and overplayed as it is. It's very Rick....making it a very strange song to keep in the set right now I closed my eyes and I still think it sounds fairly good. With them open, I can barely watch. Glad I stopped at Download 2014 I can't bring myself to open the link.... But yes it is very Rick and even with him singing it, it was way past it's sell by date.

Thought I recognised that footage - I filmed it! Windermere gig on 18 June. I remembered the date because it was the 32nd anniversary of my first Quo gig. I envy you all of those gigs, but not that one. Great footage, though.

Why on earth can't they just put another song in that is actually half decent so Francis can do vocal. It's worse than embarrassing Exactly. It's like a satire, except it's not.

Most have been amazing, there's been a few duffers along the way, but not many.
My favourite live band ever.

Sadly I can only imagine. I once saw a report Quo came to my hometown of Memphis in the summer of 74, with ZZ Top. If that proved true I would have been crushed, knowing I could have seen them but didn't. Fortunately, it appears that was in error and they never came here.

Hi americanquo , I presume you mean the direct rip off of Dimples? Yes, I don't understand that either, cos the lyrics and the tune are almost identical. But I can only assume that as JL Hooker died in 2001, no one from his estate could be bothered to bring a breach of copyright suit against Quo. This track came out on Heavy Traffic around that time. Maybe its even a tribute to him, who knows. But it ain't original, that's for sure. haha, what about this

Creeping (CUOY) should actually be called The Stalker Song... its quite appalling lyrically if you're a woman. Whereas the original Dimples is about loving and admiring this woman's qualities. Her walk, the way she sings and her dimples. That's rather lovely. John Lee knew about his effect on women, so he didn't need to sing "Nothing you can do, I'll be creeping up on you" Though CUOY is hardly alone in its lyrical outlook...

But then so should Rick. But he doesn't work on me. Nope it isn't. There are many others. What about that song by Sting - Every breath You Take, is actually meant to be creepy, against his first wife. But its played at so many weddings, I gather. Not a fan of it either cos I detected that anger in it. Didn't know the Gary Moore version. Cheers.

But whether it is really Sting speaking or a case of dramatising/imagining something (I mean Mick Jagger isn't really singing from his perspective in Midnight Rambler either, right?) I don't know. Someone Like You by Adele also fits into that category, I guess. I watched a great documentary on JLH, hence my earlier remark. The guy was really one of a kind. There's that scene in a restaurant where he immediately starts flirting with the waitress, if I remember correctly. Not that she would have minded

It may not be as good as when Rick is there but good on Rhino for stepping up and giving it all he's got. He deserves much more respect from fans than what he gets. It may not be the Quo you all saw in the 70s but are ACDC, Iron Maiden, Def Leppard, Whitesnake ect what they were in the 70s/80s?

Is it just me or is anyone else really starting to dislike some of the "Quo" fanbase, in fact a large majority. Lovers of panto Quo saying those that don't like what Rossi and co are doing right now aren't real fans, but also have to write a paragraph on why they're a real fan. Someone over on Facebook just tried to say that Rhino's bass playing wasn't average and is better than Alan's I honestly just want to give it up, it's boring these days.

He slags off fans. He acts like a clown on stage.

Might want to do some research there young fella, before you start throwing shit that doesn't stick.. I never saw Quo in the 70s.. In fact, I wasn't born until 1988.. I only ever saw Rossi's Quo... Until I saw the real Quo in 2013 and 2014... They shat all over Rossi's Quo... I also never saw AC/DC in the 70s... But I saw them 4 times over the last 16 years though... Their classic BIB line up still kicked ass.... Not really sure what point you're trying to make but, whatever it is, I've just picked it apart. As for Rhino....Hard to say really. Loved him for the gigs he done for me etc Don't like his behaviour, mannerisms, playing etc
