Sadly, I didn't even know it was on, otherwise I wouldn't have agreed to cover a colleagues shift at work yesterday evening as I'd have already had a ticket - what a shame!

Hi, this is Jimmy from Stated Quo. Sorry to hear that word of this gig didn't get out to a few people. We haven't typically plugged gigs on the message boards as the tribute section tends to be very quiet, but we'll certainly make more of a point of it if this section of the board is useful. We're back down south with a gig in Portsmouth on November 19th - and visit that area quite regularly. Here's our gig list for the rest of the year - hopefully there's something nearby Certainly a few tasty ones that we can't wait for. Cheers!

I went to see Stated at Portsmouth! They were excellent as usual! Managed to pursuade my son to go with me Shame we missed the beginning of their set (horrendous traffic problems) but got there just in time for ROLD. What did we miss Jimmy G ? Thunderstruck were great as well though I think the guitarist milked it a bit pretending to be Angus doing the strip tease. Panto DC? All in alĺ a great rockin' night out!

Thanks for coming - Storm Angus certainly made it an interesting night! Roll Over Lay Down was the fourth song, so you missed Junior's Wailing, In My Chair and Again and Again. Cheers

Cheers Ah Thanks Jimmy. Oh yes I forgot the storm was called Angus,... very appropriate I was surprised you were on so early. The other two bands must have only been on for about half an hour? I was hoping to catch a bit of the Foo Fighters trib.
