No I didn't. I just don't see the point of remakes and am pretty sure I wouldn't enjoy them. Having said that, I did like the Dad's Army film but that might have had something to do with Catherine Zeta Jones being in it

Hi All, Can't see the point of rehashing classic sit coms, apart from anything else the material would not be PC as for most of them which is why the classics where funny. Dumbing down for todays PC orientated world just ruins what they are as far as I am concerned let alone having new faces playing roles that were made by those comedy actors in the originals.
It just shows lack of imagination by todays writers I am sad to say.....

Hi All, I can see the one off's as a nod to the classic series but wouldn't bother watching them as they would take away the enjoyment of the originals for me having said that those who never watched the originals would probably think the same about them if they watched the new version then went and watched those classics.
I say this because the BBC have just commissioned a new series of Porridge because of the figures it received for the one off special with a new cast instead of investing in a new idea for a sit com but each to their own......
