The Jolly Boys outing to Margate must be up there. Pretty much a perfect episode I reckon, and the best of the 'specials'.

There's too many to choose from....apart from the ones with granddad. They were mostly pish. Uncle Albert was a better character. I'm the opposite, I thought Grandad was miles better than Uncle Albert. I don't know about the best episode, but the best scene was the chandelier one IMO; up there with "don't tell him Pike!".

What's Dave then, a nickname. So many good episodes, but seeing them finally make millions on a egg timer watch .

Hi All, To many to think of really all the characters old and their replacements (Granddad) had their own comedic turn. Two of my favourite moments that stood out were the Chandelier scene with granddad and the Bar scene where dell falls through the open hatchway...... Some funny moments for you all enjoy...... Geoff.

Cwying!
That is a beautiful piece of writing leading up to the one big (brilliant) joke when the central charatcter sings "cwy-y-y-ing"
Then you have to watch it again to check on all of the lyric changes he makes to avoid singing r's - absolutely brilliant writing!

I always liked the episode where they stay in a cottage and there's an escaped lunatic that Del ends up playing an imaginary game of snooker with.
Best TV programme ever imo.

I loved this programme. It really hit the spot, alongside classics like Blackadder and Fawlty Towers. Anyway don't forget the episode that had the car chase with classic Quo being played!!
