Hi All, Star Trek Beyond a very underrated film from the franchise IMHO, the only bit that didn't belong to it was the motorbike sequence that was spoilt by the bad CGI apart from that I enjoyed the Sci-Fi film that has a nice dedication to 'Leonard Nimoy and Anton Yelchin' at the end, the film flies past and can easily be watched again....
Starring:-Chris Pine,Zachary Quinto,Karl Urban,Simon Pegg Zoe Saldana,John Cho,Anton Yelchin,Sofia Boutella,Idris Elba, Joe Taslim,Lydia Wilson,Sara Forsberg,Deep Roy,Melissa Roxburgh,Shohreh Aghdashloo,Greg Grunberg,Danny Pudi,Kim Kold, Anita Brown,Doug Jung,Dan Payne,Shea Whigham and Jeff Bezos.
A surprise attack in outer space forces the Enterprise to crash-land on a mysterious world. The assault came from Krall (Idris Elba), a lizard-like dictator who derives his energy by sucking the life out of his victims. Krall needs an ancient and valuable artifact that's aboard the badly damaged starship. Left stranded in a rugged wilderness, Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and the rest of the crew must now battle a deadly alien race while trying to find a way off their hostile planet.

Hi All, Sausage Party. (Via Sky Cinema) A definitely not for children animated film that is quite funny for the most but not to everybody's taste. I would say If your easily offended it's not for you! especially as it pokes fun at many subjects that some find offensive when done. On the whole it's just a good take your brain out (That's ok for me then I haven't one ) and watch film. Particular funny moments are the Pitta and Bagel interaction also the Junkie who when shooting up can see the food talking to him and others. The only let down was the free for all near the end it just doesn't fit in with the story seems that the makers ran out of ideas ?
Character voice stars:-Seth Rogen,Kristen Wiig,Jonah Hill,Bill Hader,Michael Cera,James Franco,Danny McBride,Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd,Nick Kroll,David Krumholtz,Edward Norton,Salma Hayek,Alistair Abell,Iris Apatow,Sugar Lyn,Ian James, Michael Daingerfield Brian Dobson,Michael Dobson,Ian Hanlin,Maryke Hendrikse,Anders Holm,Lauren Miller,Nicole Oliver,Kelly Sheridan,Jason Simpson,Greg Tiernan,Vincent Tong,Scott Diggs Underwood,Conrad Vernon,Sam Vincent and Harland Williams. Life is good for all the food items that occupy the shelves at the local supermarket. Frank (Seth Rogen) the sausage, Brenda (Kristen Wiig) the hot dog bun, Teresa Taco and Sammy Bagel Jr. (Edward Norton) can't wait to go home with a happy customer. Soon, their world comes crashing down as poor Frank learns the horrifying truth that he will eventually become a meal. After warning his pals about their similar fate, the panicked perishables devise a plan to escape from their human enemies.

Hi All, Kajaki. (BBCi available until 31/5) A good modern day war drama despite most of the action being confined to area still manages to put the viewer in the soldiers situation with some grizzly scenes but don't watch if you expect all the violence that usually comes with a modern war film. This is based on a true event that involved the 'British Army' during their tour of 'Afghanistan', it's 'Triumph over Adversity' overcoming the situation as it deteriorates around them and the bravery of all involved.....
Starring:-David Elliot,Mark Stanley,Scott Kyle,Benjamin O'Mahony,Bryan Parry,Liam Ainsworth,Ali Cook,Andy Gibbins, Grant Kilburn John Doughty,Jon-Paul Bell,Malachi Kirby,Luebke,Robert Mitchell,Thomas Davison,Abe Dababneh,Felipe Cabezas and Hazem Alagha.
During the war in Afghanistan, British soldiers embark on a mission to save their trapped comrades after one (Benjamin O'Mahony) loses a leg to a land mine.

Hi All, IDResurgence (Via Sky Cinema) I finally got around to viewing this and was expecting a real turd of a movie, true while not as good as the original ID and a bit corny at times I feel it was worth watching as a continuance of the franchise being honest though the film make ahs let his side down and not because of the lack Will Smith as many where saying.
The hope they can at least do the follow up 3rd film better which the ending seems to suggest would round it off nicely but has to be better than both previous films IMHO. Sadly though I fear because of the slating it received it will possibly not happen. It's shame really as they could have ended the franchise in the 3rd film on a high...
Starring:-Liam Hemsworth,Jeff Goldblum,Bill Pullman,Maika Monroe,Jessie T. Usher,Travis Tope,William Fichtner, Charlotte Gainsbourg,Judd Hirsch,Brent Spiner and Sela Ward along with a host of others.
As the Fourth of July nears, satellite engineer David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) investigates a 3,000-mile-wide mother ship that's approaching Earth. Fortunately, 20 years earlier, nations across the world started to use recovered extraterrestrial technology to develop an immense defense program. When the alien invaders attack with unprecedented force, the U.S. president, teams of scientists and brave fighter pilots spring into action to save the planet from a seemingly invincible enemy.

Hi All, Tell Me How I Die. ( Via Sky Cinema) A low budget 'Horror/Thriller' film aimed more at young adults really, no real shockers but still watchable as a 'Horror' IMPO just not much of it with just bits and pieces, still a good waste of 107mins of your life if you have nothing else to watch...
Starring:-Nathan Kress,Virginia Gardner,Kirby Bliss Blanton,Ryan Higa and William Mapother.
A killer starts to pick off college students one by one after they take an experimental drug that leads to visions of their own murders.

Hi All, Shadowlands. (Via Sky Cinema) Biopic about a chapter In the life of 'C.S.Lewis' when he meets and eventually falls in love with an American women, bit of a weepy in the last 45mins you'll need a hanky (Yes I did blub ). Thought it was an excellent all-round well acted Drama especially since it's from 1993.....
Starring:-Anthony Hopkins,Debra Winger,Edward Hardwicke,Joseph Mazzello,James Frain,Julian Fellowes,Michael Denison and John Wood with a couple of early appearances by now established actors.
C. S. Lewis (Anthony Hopkins), the renowned author of "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, is a bachelor and Oxford University professor who spends his free time debating with fellow academics at a pub. Although he seems entirely uninterested in love, Lewis agrees to marry Joy Gresham (Debra Winger), an American writer who is looking to secure British citizenship. Their arrangement soon becomes a romance, and, when Joy is diagnosed with terminal cancer, their bond grows even stronger.

I'm watching 2001: A Space Odyssey at the moment. Fantastic special effects, especially for 1968. No need for all this CGI shite. hhhmmm... Stanley Kubrick was an extremely busy film producer at that time apparently. ;-)
