Hi All, Anybody else watching the new time travel Sci-fi drama 11.22.63 on Fox ? It has just finished airing in the US quite good reviews. The first episode was really quite good and lays out the storyline for the following episodes really well I thought, and I am hoping it carries on in the same pace...

I have it recorded on the TIVO box. I know how the book goes so we'll see how it goes.

Yes I enjoyed the first episode Geoff, looking forward to the next one. Great looking 60's sets etc. I liked the nods to other timetravel shows/films like the telephone box in Bill and Ted!

The programme is called 11.22.63 whereas the book is titled 11/22/63. |

One of the best books I've read in many years! I'm SO eager to see the tv show too!
(By the way, in Sweden the proper "spelling" would be 63 -11-22)

The series (and the book) has one small problem - Lee Harvey Oswald didn't kill anybody. surely no one believes he did do they?  |

Meanwhile, Episode 3 and still good story wise just the mind bending black screen between scenes at times just to long IMHO. One big niggle was the main character changed his car with no explanation ? Driving away at night in the rain at the end of Ep.2. in a 50's Chevy, in the opening scene of Ep.3 still driving at night in the rain it had changed to an Oldsmobile all rusted up which later changes into a sparkling De suto  ?..... doh
