Making decisions that affects so many peoples lives. Maybe he should be more greatful to the three guys who helped him succeed. After all it has been proven that without that era he would have flopped in everything else.

It's somewhat ironic that the one band member who seems least keen on Quo, regardless of which one it would appear, is the one who has the last word on all things Quo!

Without writing anything too derogatory / libellous , I think Francis amongst over things is trying to keep death , divorce , drugs / excessive drinking , out of his and the band's life . Some fans will understand my point of view, especially if you were at a lot of the reunion gigs, before and after the shows . Not sticking up for his way of thinking about more reunions , just that maybe there's more to his decision than is currently known .

The thing is Charlie, it could all be simplified from what it was in 14, be a bit more like 13. Say 2 gigs in Scotland, 1 gig in Ireland, 3 around Manchester or a bit South of and 3 London. 9 UK gigs within reasonable travelling distance for most in the country. They would hardly venture away from the normal set and could probably get away with say rehearsing within a ten day period prior to the first gig They would sell these gigs out, be an earner and all the fans who crave more FF, including many CQ fans are satisfied. AL would probably be back in Oz within 25 days of arriving in the UK. How many days are in a year again? I think it is a bit selfish not to. At least Rick has a good feel for how important it is to many

Maybe he just wants a wig? If so, he's too late, I think they are abolishing them.

He can make a handsome living with CQ with none of the "hassle" of FF. Not sure he cares about a legacy or musical integrity anymore

I liken him to Ritchie Blackmore. He could earn a lot more money by rejoining Deep Purple. He won't though as his heart is no longer in Rock. He wants to play his renaissance music with his missus. Yes he is doing some electric gigs next year, however it's a goodbye a bit like the Frantic Gigs were.
Francis earns enough money with the CQ andit gives him what he wants. I maintain they should have cleared the air 20 years ago then maybe Francis would have been a bit more hungry to work. He now wants the easy life and thats not what the FF is. Shame but thats the way it is.

From what I've heard over the decades, I think Francis is a control freak- exit Coghlan then Lancaster, the thump and growl of the greatest Rock band to ever walk the planet. I'm so glad I went and saw them in the Winter of 1978 at the Hordern Pavilion, Sydney, Australia. I did see Alan and John together on 25th November 1988 at Hotel Manly
I do love the later versions of QUO, and I'm looking forward to seeing Cave and Malone on 15th October 2017 at The Sydney Opera House.
Long Live The Mighty QUO!!!!
