I´m from the other side of the Atlantic, so the "inventory" we choose from will be a bit different, but that makes it even more interesting:
Mine:
Gunsmoke (later years) Little House on the Prairie Hogans Heroes
P.S. In the 70s where I´m from (Columbus, Ohio, U.S.A.) we got Monty Python on public tv, only. Nobody watched public tv, at least in my world. So not too many kids were familiar with Monty Python over on our side of the ocean, but it became kind of a hit with my gang of friends in our ladder years of high school. It was our introduction to British humor. I got about 35% of it, but what I got I loved. Benny Hill became popular some time later, and then the world became smaller and thus seeing foreign/British shows wasn´t such an exotic thing anymore.
Anyway, you guys?..

Always liked westerns, so as a kid i loved the High chapparal and the virginian.
As a teenager it was the brilliant Tiswas, fawlty towers, porridge and Saturday nights :- Cannon followed by match of the day.
As an adult......Not a lot now. Don't watch much tv to be honest now! Too much shite on !!

Bill and Ben Star Trek Anything with Morcambe and Wise or The Two Ronnies in it. Dave Allen Top of the Pops. I miss that. What to do with a Thursday evening now? Red Dwarf - some of the best telly ever at times. Hitchhikers Guide to the G TV. Drop the Dead Donkey was really good but it looks very dated now. Have I Got News for You - the only thing we try never to miss. (Apart from Castle, but we are years behind on that.) Anything with dinosaurs in it. I used to love The Rag Trade. Not sure I saw many episodes, but I never forgot it ... And of course ... The Lone Ranger!
