Interesting interview, thanks for sharing. He confirms he's decided to make another solo album, but he's only just decided that. Also I thought it was interesting that he mentioned he disagreed with promoters spin on previous tours being labelled as farewell tours, but it seems at the moment he doesn't think Quo will go again after this year.
My two pence on that, for what it's worth, is that history tells us Francis' mind tends to be influenced on whether he gets invested in something. I think if he enjoys the shows anywhere near as much as he did in 2022, the band will do more shows at some point (though I imagine perhaps 10 or 15 scattered dates across a summer, rather than a full tour).
Also interesting that he mentioned the live archive series and that he trusts the EarMusic boss to make those decisions on releases. A shame the interviewer didn't ask about the possibility of shows being released that weren't part of the 'Live Here Now' series, though we all know that is unlikely due to legal rights and Universal's laid back approach to Quo releases!

Couldn't get into that site so thanks Tom on the highlights of Rossi's interview. Too may 'farewell tours' over the decades means that they won't be signing off with a bang after all. A pity, but inevitable me thinks.

Very interesting interview. It really does sound that 2024 could be it for the mighty Quo.Francis doing more Tunes and Chat next year so would be 2026 before they go again with Andy then being 82 which would be unlikely according to Francis.

Just listened to this, Rossi sounds on good form here, not some of the usual waffling on, but nice and direct to the point actually answering the actual questions rather than going on about something completely different, which he has been known to do! Interesting about the set, my simple advice is if All You Really Wanna Do is play All We Really Wanna Do, (see what I did there!), then just play it. I've always loved it, pure Quo to me, could have worked on most the 70's albums. I only ever thought anything negative about it when I heard Francis say in one of the docs years back, maybe the Party one around 2005 time, that nobody liked it, I always thought who, cos I always like it & I'm sure lots of other fans did and do. The thing about the slightly longer set from 2022, it allowed room for 2-3 extra album based tunes to be amongst the big commercial hitters. If it's to be a similar time on stage I'd love to see a full Most Of The Time added after Little Lady, an extra track for Richie to sing like Rockers Rollin, Your Smiling Face, One Man Band, Big Fat Mama etc. I also think both Don't Waste My Time and Burning Bridges can work in the same set, actually would make for a great encore duo. Good interview though that.
