There is definitely a similarity with the melody of the chorus. Not sure I'd go as far as a rip-off though. I also think it's very good! Love that!

I bought the single Better Days way back (1989 maybe?) and absolutely loved it, as well as the extra tracks. Never got round to buying the album for whatever reason. They've flitted in and out of fashion and dabbled in different styles throughout the 90's. But this new one is well back to their best.
