This has grown on me over the years. The keys are not good so it deserved a rerecording..
I like Francis version too, but that also has some bits I don't like going on. The drum effects sound really dated

Have always adored this tune,I very much enjoy everything about it.The Hammond organ, the girls backing the chorus, the musicianship in general is top class. Quo rocked hard but also had an equally fantastic softer side as well and this a perfect example of that.If you can't stand the heat has really grown on me over the years...its an overlooked record but has some truly outstanding moments I feel... Accident Prone,Like a good girl,Let me Fly,Long legged Linda...not bad little numbers. Also when I watch the clips from this Time, they were definitely at their peak hairy and dishevelled...Frames stubble in particular...just before his hair started going!

Never liked it, nor Francis version. I don't get why this was a single in Spain (or it was the B-side? Now I don't remember)

Love this song, could have been a big hit at the time, kinda reminds me of Mull of Kintyre, never known why.

Never liked it, nor Francis version. I don't get why this was a single in Spain (or it was the B-side? Now I don't remember) I guess that when a band member wanted his song as a single... and wasn't happy at being told no.. then yes it became a single... somewhere outside the UK

Like the fact that Francis miming the outro solo on the acoustic guitar.
