Was there any particular reason why Quo only did a small UK tour for this album and never played anywhere else? Surely this must be the shortest tour they've ever done for an album?

I went to Sheffield and it was the first time I ever saw them
It wasn’t on the list of official dates and was advertised in the radio that day. It was maybe 2/3rds full.
I wondered whether it was added as a last minute thing

I went to the Wembley gigs in 88/89 and never bothered again until 2010. I was miles away from the stage and was proper pissed off. No matter how hard I tried I just didn't like them anymore. No 4500 Times,BFM,Backwater/Just Take Me, Most Of The Time or Down Down. Instead we got Little Dreamer, Perfect Remedy, The Power of Rock, Who Get's the Love,Cream of The Crop and The Laurel & Hardy theme.

That was the 1988 Ain’t Complaining tour. 2 sold out nights. Perfect Remedy was only 1 night at Wembley. The lack of success of the album & singles released in 1989 meant there was generally a lower profile tour. The year after (RAOTY tour) Quo played a massive UK tour inc 3 sold out nights at Wembley & a few other dates added along the way. At the time they had a no’2 album & single in the charts & sold over 200k tickets for the UK tour.

I had read the post as all the songs being played as part of the same set.
Those Wembley gigs, I went to every single one that you mention. At least in 1990 we had 4500 Times back in the set (full version), although we also got the Anniversary Waltz.
Sometime in the 90's I got a life and the days of between 10 and 20 gigs a tour were no more.

"Wembley gigs 88/89" I couldn't be bothered to differentiate between the Ain't Complaining tour and the Perfect Remedy tours.
