I have been thinking about Bob when in the earlier years he wrote songs with Alan, Rick & of course Francis. When he came back & started Writing with Francis on Heavy Traffic album, Is that he only Wrote with? I mean the other albums followed did Bob wrote with Rick, Rhino or even Andy? I could find out myself by taking out my Quo collection, but i couldn't be bothered. Plus, like to read what Quo fans think about the subject matter.

Everything was with Rossi except for a song with Parfitt and a song with Rossi and Edwards. One By One (Parfitt/Young) Heavy Traffic (Rossi/Young/Edwards) Just go on the official site and it lists the albums and who wrote which particular song.

Is it a b side or something unreleased from DOTH,OTL,BFY,RAOTW,IYCSTH,WYW,JS or NTL. Could it be something so shite that my consciousness does an automatic skip? Just to be a pillock what are these songs. AAA, LLL , DD, PP, CC , TT and LL?

Although Rhino didn't at any point write with Bob, Rhino took two rossi/young songs and put the best bits together. Damn good job he did too. One was "i cried", I can't remember what the other one was.
Sadly no longer maintained, the jukebox doesn't work for me

There is an imho as well. we could have For Universal Creative Knowledge with Official Facts Found.

I was more curious about why Bob doesn't write with Rick, Rhino and Andy after Heavy traffic album.

I was more curious about why Bob doesn't write with Rick, Rhino and Andy after Heavy traffic album. Of course, I have no insider insight on this. But my speculation, about writing collaborations in general, which I do know about, you have to have a creative spark with another person to write with them. Was that there with Bob and those other members of the band? Also, Bob and Francis were close way back, they wrote some of the seminal Quo songs. Their families went on holiday together. So to me, it makes sense that once the lies and confusion between them was cleared up (over the money stolen era), they became friends again and continued writing songs. Bob also has other musical projects and folk to write songs with. Maybe working with Francis satisfied his desire to write songs for Quo, and he didn't need to write with the other band members.

I wonder whether it's just a case of not being around other band members enough for those song-writing situations to arise. Back in the day, Bob was always there it seems - both on the road, as his job would necessitate, & in the studio, adding the odd bit of harmonica.

That's a great point too dennisBob would have known Rick from pre 84 days. I don't think Andy wrote songs for them back then, but I've not checked and could be wrong. And he wouldn't have hung with Rhino at all.

That's probably it CG, It's a shame would love to hear some Parfitt/Young compositions ect.

Andy certainly co-wrote a few that appeared from'78 onwards, primarily with Rick but also with Francis & Alan - never with Bob, I think According to the writing credits, "Falling In Falling Out" was written by Rick, Andy and Bob. It's the only song on the album he has a credit on, and perhaps the last Quo song he co-wrote for a long time ("Invitation", "Keep Me Guessing" and "Late Last Night" were all demoed in the late 70s, but not properly recorded until the ITAN era).
