Status Quo?
When RP joined they became Status Quo. Roy Lynes left and they were still Status Quo until JC got the sack. They then became Status Quo without John Coghlan.
They then turned into the Rossi/Parfitt band (Wouldn't have mattered a jot who was on Bass, Drums and Keyboards, it really wouldn't).
The final incarnation is now Francis Rossi and the no threat quartet. A really good band but not Status Quo.

Not forgetting the contribution of Bob Young.

It's a brand, not a band.
Same with The Stones, Kiss, AC/DC and whomever else

It's a brand, not a band. Same with The Stones, Kiss, AC/DC and whomever else Bucks Fizz. I'll never recognise the legitimacy of any lineup without Bobby G.
