Cool, regardless whether some like this track or not, always good to hear live versions of tracks that rarely made the live set.

Remember when this came on during the set and it slowed things down considerably - obviously. But listening to it live now after all these decades and it actually sounds pretty darn good. The guitars and John's drums drive it along with a bit more backbone than what went on record. This heavier sound would have made the album version better in my opinion. Love that solo. Would have been nice if Frame let it go on a bit longer live - a minor quip.

Never a favourite of mine but, as Xland says, always good to hear songs that were never played live all that often. Maybe only for the one tour. I remain surprised that they haven't weaved this one in and out of the set like, say, Living On An Island, because this was a bigger hit. But then there was always that balance of lead vocals at play and Francis sang this one. Which probably explains the bizarre inclusion of For You a few years ago.

I can remember hanging around the side of Hammersmith Odeon/Apollo in '81, at the stage door with my sister as we had arrived far too early for the gig. We could actually hear the strains of a few tunes being run-through at the sound check, including 'Rock N Roll'. Vivid memory of Andy Bown walking out of the stage door and off to somewhere...McDonald's perhaps?!
Francis's favourite all time Quo track seems to have shifted from Marguerita Time to Tongue Tied...and Rock N Roll was a precursor to Tongue Tied via a bit of Jeff Lynne magic, to my mind.
Just Supposin' was very fresh to the ears at that time and hearing a new album track on stage live was always welcome but they dropped it pretty quickly. Probably to do with the flow! I enjoyed hearing it anyway.
