This is bit of a strange one.
2-0 Piledriver but 2-2 at half time.
Then 4-2 Piledriver (Paper Plane narrowly beating it's own B-side) before Hello bring it back to 4-4.
In an ideal world, Piledriver, Hello and Dog Of Two Head would be champions, but as it cannot be Dog Of Two Head, it has to be Piledriver, as it's Piledriver.
It is greater than the sum of it's parts and Hello has one Meh moment, IMHO, with Claudie.

Piledriver, as expected, takes an early 2 goal lead and is well on top. But Hello! comes storming back with two crackers, although VAR had to intervene to give Reason For Living the edge over A Year.
The second half is more cagey but Caroline, Softer Ride and, that Lionel Messi of tracks, Forty-Five Hundred Times pull Hello! away to give them a 5-3 victory in a classic encounter.
Both are getting on a bit but they can both still turn it on and show their younger, newer, more expensive signings how it should be done.

I’ve gone man marking on this one both playing the same system.
Opening is a mammoth encounter but DWMT edges it.
Claudie easily outclasses its opponent and equalises 1-1.
Piledriver storms back with A year but Blue eyed Lady as expected makes it 2-2.
Hello brings out the big guns. Caroline with an easy take makes it 3-2 and then a tricky number but Softer Ride extends the lead for Hello 4-2. Piledriver storms back one with the lovely all the reasons.
All in vain as 45 scores an easy victory over Roadhouse.
A great battle but a strong second half performance makes the final score 5-3 in favour of Hello !

A late kick off for me , due to crowd congestion at the turnstiles.
ROLD v DWMT is a fairly easy tap in for me 1-0 Hello.
Interesting midfield battle but Claudie has a poor game and Piledriver pulls one back 1-1.
Blue Eyed Lady v Unspken Words...hmmm. This would have been a shoe in a few years back but just lately (since this comp started), I have really got to appreciate the intricacirs of Unspoken Words, so against the general run of play 2-1 Piledriver.
Second half kicks off with another titanic struggle. Could go either way, especially if live versions were included. VAR says no, so Caroline just shades it ( just) 2-2.
Battle of two midfield giants next with Softer Ride and its stop start tactics just getting on top of the 100mph Paper Plane ( Dennis they should never have put SR on the transfer list). Two of my favourite quieter tracks next and again difficult to split them. I cant really so Hello , takes the honours.
I dont know what to say next. An epic battle and elongated interplay between two stalwarts of the Quo catalogue. 45 hundred times imposing its superiority to clinch a rather flattering scoreline of 4-2 which really doesnt reflect the closeness of the game.
Hello for me.
Piledriver bitterly disappointed in the game of two halves. Probably a better overall team performance , just the proven goak scorers of Hello clinching it.

An interesting match, to say the least. Tempting to break with the format & line them up 1-8 v 1-8, but I'll stick with the established opening, middle, closing per side format.
Don't waste My Time v Roll Over Lay Down - Unsurprisingly, at this stage, these are 2 top notch Quo numbers. I can't separate them, so this is a tie for me: =
Oh Baby & A Year v Claudie & A Reason For Living - Piledriver's pairing completely overwhelming what I've always seen as a pair of rather so-so songs: P
Unspoken Words v Blue Eyed Lady - Although it's a great tune closing a great side of a great album, Unspoken Words can't compete with the rollicking Blue Eyed Lady: H
Even Stevens at half time!
Big Fat Mama v Caroline - They've done it again! A pair of opening numbers for side 2 that, once again, I can't separate: =
Paper Plane & All The Reasons v Softer Ride & And It's Better Now - Softer Ride is a great number to steal from the Piledriver stable, but it's dragged down by another so-so ditty in And It's Better Now. Paper Plane & All The Reasons winning the midfield battle hands down : P
Roadhouse Blues v Forty Five Hundred Times - Although Quo's version of Roadhouse Blues is, arguably, better than the original, Forty Five Hundred Times is not only better, but it's of their own creation : H
So, I make it a draw!
However, on a track by track comparison Piledriver's strong middle to each side would swing the balance to them & it'd be 4-2 to the Gorilla!
