About a month ago I quoted some plastering work for as it turned out a fellow expat , got chatting mainly about dogs . Today I turned up to start the work , and he said “ you’ve done something I’ve always wanted to do “ , I asked what that was and he said to see the FF Reunion . As I was wondering how he knew I’d seen them , he told me he’d checked out my Facebook profile picture , then said his Dad bought his family up on Quo , well until John then Alan had left 😂. His Dad saw them many times in their heyday , unfortunately not his son , he had only seen State of Quo at the Limelight , where he had met John . So after swapping stories about various gigs and bands , he said he had something for me and gave me his Blue Tin record ( I bought the box version , when it came out ) . What a generous man , some real good people out there …..

Nice one. I bought the blue tin set from a vinyl seller on a market stall in our local high street. Unfortunately by the time I played the records a few weeks later, I found that the first one had numerous scratches and jumped more times than a Quo fan during Burning Bridges and Hold you Back combined! By this time I could not take the set back to the seller as they were no longer there. However, a very nice friend of mine runs a vinyl shop in Fareham, and got another set which I bought off him for a reasonable price. So I've got the set now.
