Hi all I was just listening to Rock FM Spain and they played a song that suddenly morphed into the end part of RAOTW (at 2:39). Anyway, here it is: I think RFM Spain is far better than the UK version. I had it playing on the radio constantly when we were in Tenerife last year and I tracked it down via the web when we got home. There's not only a fantastic selection of songs, but hearing the DJs talk in Spanish makes me feel like I'm still on holiday. You can try Rock FM Spain here: www.rockfm.fm/

The only Spanish band that really rocked (that I know of):
Those were the days!

I'm spanish (as you may know) and Platero y Tú is one of those 3-4 spanish bands that I'm listening from time to time, Fito (the lead singer) is a declared Status Quo fan (and he seems to be a Francis alike, aside the bald head, he disbanded Platero y Tú because of the more oriented pop songs that he was doing the later years of the band and formed another band...Which it was more successfull...And I don't like it at all).
I can't find it right now, but I remember hearing a snippet of one of the Fito y los Fitipaldis live DVDs that in the middle of the show, he and the band played a snippet of Caroline. He said something like "This isn't on the setlist, viva Status Quo, cojones!".

For a Spanish station, they don't play a huge number of Spanish bands, its mainly classic rock (Maiden, Rainbow, Hendrix) mixed with newer bands (Muse, Nirvana, Radiohead etc). They often play this Spanish band though and I've grown to absolutely love this song:
