Nice optimistic song and a great intro too. The Disco effects( The piece of technology which goes ( “woooo” ) probably dampen things a bit but a steadily good track. This was the transition period of Francis workings more with Bernie Frost than Bob Young and the songs were becoming more happy go lucky so speak?

I play this to annoy dogs with bernies harmony.
This is probably the first example of this no?
Actually I don’t mind it though Heat is by far the least played album in my Quo Listening history of the FF.
I’d be surprised if I’ve listened to the album in twenty years.

No, absolutely nothing for me! This one and Accident Prone were even bigger shocks and letdowns than Baby Boy and the awful paperthin sound on the RAOTW album had been the year before. The beginning of the end so to say….

The very first song where I suddenly realised my heroes of the previous 7 years were actually fallible. Or maybe it was just the loss of my youth I'd liked the Rockin' album regardless of sound issues and Again And Again was an OK single as well as the first track in. Then this came on. Had it been a one-off, like a so-so B-side, I'd have lived with that. But it wasn't. Given the passage of time, I've come to appreciate that .... Heat isn't all that bad an album after all. It was just the crushing disappointment at the time that seemed to throw me a bit. But this song is the poorest of them all for me on the album. It's just bland nothingness. However, I was listening when you said you were giving up your worrying Because I did as well

Stones pretty poor right? Long legged Linda… Someone show me… GTYTLM is poor except a killer lead break
Otherwise I’d say the remainder are fair to good.
Oh what a night and accident prone being the pick of the bunch.

I like it and "Oh what a night" is the best song of this album.

It's awful. Just listened to (or tried to) the whole album for the first time in an age and I found this one right up there with the worst.
I know it's not an album review but I do like the following Like a Good Girl, Oh What a Night and Accident Prone.
