Thank you, both those tricks look handy! I don't read the Telly or the Times often enough to want a log-in, let alone a sub. (My MIL subbed to the Telegraph long ago, by mail, and they would not leave her alone - constant nags from the subscription marketing department.)
PS the bit about the cows reminds me of my Mr in the 70s with his something-band radio he would carry with him. He'd sit on a hill to listen over distance, and one day this huge herd of cows came and arranged themselves around him in a circle. They didn't come close, and didn't make any moves at him, just watched. When he got up and walked off, they followed in a lackadaisical way, again never coming near. When we pass cows in fields now, they are much more aggressive, so I avoid it. It's not about having calves - we've seen bullocks and young cows with no calves do the same thing. Is it what they get fed?

Nah, just make sure Ed Sheerin or Craig David aren't playing on that radio
