I only watched part 1. If you know your Dickens characters and love them, maybe. I don't know them well enough. But I did guess the obvious ones. But in the end, I concluded it was period Eastenders and seeing as it was made by a guy who wrote for the show for a number of years, that isn't surprising. I'd try one and see if its for you.

Got every episode recorded but watched none of it. Should I bother No. It was on BBC1, so that pretty much guarantees it will be shite. Shetland is good but they are going to show football instead on Friday.

Got every episode recorded but watched none of it. Should I bother I was so looking forward to this but was totally lost by the end of the first episode. spose you need to know every single dickens character to follow it.

Hi All, It's just a ash up of various characters from dickens novels combined in a fantasy story based on the killing of who killed Jacob Marley I quite like it but then I am a bit thick.....
