Like a lot of the album, it drives along nicely. Shades of Henry Mancini's Peter Gunn theme with the main riff (also covered by the likes of Duane Eddy and Art of Noise). I'm probably being a bit picky but the break and change of key about 1½ minutes in spoils it a little for me but otherwise, yeah, pretty good. It's interesting but having to write for the movie - and quickly by all accounts - resulted in them coming up with some very good stuff under a bit of pressure. Certainly, musically. Lyrically it was all movie driven and very throwaway of course but who gives a toss about that? Not this epitome of superficiality 7/10

Some good songs on this album, The problem is the movie and this stick in my subconscius. Thats why I do not rank BQ higher that other albums.

As a song, meh, but I really hate the backing vocals on the chorus, even more higher (in tune) than the Frost's vocals from the 80's

A good one. Posting on these song threads recently I had the realisation how many tracks from Bula Quo I liked.

This and Velvet Train have a similar groove, and one which Quo do well, if almost never. Somehow has a 60's vibe to my ears.
Rhino's doing the high octave harmony in the choruses, and it's a bit unnecessarily loud, should've have mixed it lower as he seems to have a louder voice than Rossi generally.
