Not technically a Status Quo song but it did appear as B side to In the Army now and Rick, John Edwards and Jeff Rich did play on this Rick solo effort from his abandoned solo album. Nice solo from pip williams here too. Wonder if Quo had stayed split post 85 and Rick’s solo career had taken off this would have been a single ??

Originally a Quo reject from the WYW sessions I think Its OK, fine for a b side Yeah, there's a demo of it somewhere. Probably the This 'n' That CD. I don't mind it. It's bog standard Quo for the time. Well, for any time really. Not convinced it's single material. It's not really distinctive enough. But, yeah, I liked it at the time. Any new Quo material at the time was welcome. I used to walk to my girlfriend's flat after work. It was about 2 miles and this and all the other new stuff I put on tape for my Walkman. I know many Quo fans didn't like this period but I did. So there

Nothing superspecial but still lots better than the material that made it to the album in those days. Same thing with many other single B-sides from that period. The B-sides (often written and sung by Rick) was what kept me somewhat interested in the band during that period (for example: Lonely, Lean Machine, Keep Me Guessing, Heartburn, Long-legged Girls, Halloween and this one), though some of them werent that great (but at least rocking)

Still don't get why Lonely, Late last night, Lean machine, Keep me Guessing, Heartburn and also The reason for Goodbye were not on the albums of that period
