Thanks for pointing this out, time to damage the wallet. The Greatest Album of All Time? I think so.

Thanks for pointing this out, time to damage the wallet. The Greatest Album of All Time? I think so. Sis and Mrs Mortified both think the chocolate hoodie is hideous And you do wonder why it's that colour I'm less sure myself but 45 quid to find out it actually IS hideous is a risk too far for a man close to state pensionable age Love the black 't' with the tour dates though Greatest album of all time? Not quite for me but it is up there. The opening bars of Umleitung take me back to a teenage bedroom (mine, I hasten to add! ) strewn with music papers, record covers without vinyl in them, a pair of orange loons and a shirt-tailed t-shirt (sigh) I'm also coming around to the fact that the 'dog' is Quo's greatest album cover image. It's a toss up (more teenage memories ) between that and the tree.

A lot of this anniversary merch could have been done so much better!
The Army merch is the closest to the tour merch at the time, but doesn't really come close to replicating it. Would it have been that hard to get an artist to properly recreate the original crossed guitars artwork, instead of using the modern crossed guitars. Another thing that irks me about the Army ones is they've not used the "Plan Of Attack" slogan on the backs
The Never Too Late stuff was decent, but again they didn't bother to properly do the SQ logo used on the album sleeve. Same old Quo logo with a gradient thrown onto it.
The DOTH hoodie should've been a red colour, not chocolate. Hate the album sleeve t-shirt - they could've done a 3D print of the album art, instead of the tiny square print... the Women's tee is the best looks wise.
Tour dates, as far as I know, are missing off the November shows like Stockholm Radiohuset etc

And I tend to agree with most of everything else that you say. The Never Too Late t-shirts were disappointing. The original tour t-shirts were navy blue with the artwork blended in. We can all take an image of an album cover, go to Vistaprint, upload it and get a t-shirt with the album on the front for a tenner. Only trouble is, it looks a bit naff. It looks home made. The Dog t-shirt I like largely because it isn't just a square image of the album on a black background. I appreciate the other one is. Why the hoodie is brown, I cannot imagine. A roll of leftover material? To be honest, a black or red hoodie designed precisely the same I'd have probably grabbed. Being Quo fans we can be incredibly picky. Being a band member with the stuff going out there in their name, they should be as well!

Next year we have; 1+9+8+2 & Live Alive Quo merch to be disappointed by With the Never Too Late merch, they should have used the backcover "faces in space" design. Could've easily done a 3D print with the album art on the front and that on the back. I am glad they are doing these bits of merch, but they leave SO much to be desired! Tbh, I'm quite surprised they let the Rock 'til You Drop anniversary pass by

I kinda liked that one tbh. The while vintage tee was good too imo. But some of these shirts are really weird, like, who the hell would pay actual money for that rock'n'roll n you shirt!? 🤣

One big problem I've always had with Quo merch is that it's always been done really poorly, making it all look like cheap stuff you buy on the fair(correct word?), but these two shirts are probably the first two I genuinely like and actually could see myself wearing.

Totally agree with that, so over to Wish then!!! Live was the last great album cover, the Glasgow Live, not Live Alive. That's a bit like RTYD, no expense spent.

I await the 50th anniversary gear for Piledriver next year - white t shirt with the heads down pose on the front & the gorilla on the back, that should do the trick!
