A classic. Didnt they use to do a sort of guitar interlude ( dont know what else to call it ) between tracks before breaking into this at late 70s early 80s gigs.

Yet another classic. About a car, so we're led to believe. Not convinced myself Blinding track. Not sure why but I wish they'd played the opening in full live. The song has always been paired with something else running into it. Can't recall when I first heard them play it live. I think they did it in the early 70's but it had gone by 1973. I remember reading an interview donkeys ago - and I mean decades! - where Francis said they had real problems with feedback when they tried to play it so they ditched it for a while. When they come out of the 'quiet' bit and start to drive the song home it is one of THE great moments in rock for me. No one else did that. Not then. And not very often since. Not even Quo Genius 12/10

Never heard the car thing before, not sure about that!
Yeah the interlude into this on EOTR was brilliant. A shame didn't happen on the reunions, one member didn't want to do it..

The best of the best! 12/10! Always high on my Top Ten! Never get tired of hearing it! I may be wrong but I seem to remember that they actually played the intro bit live in the beginning, I think there is a tape from Marquee 1972 when it was included.

This is simply the best Quo song. Has always been my favorite. A simpel but great guitar riff, multiple parts, dynamic changes, folk inspired interlude, superb guitar solo, a real rock ending. What other Quo song offer all this?
