Good article. Hello is a special album for me, summer of 1983, discovering all those 'old' Quo albums on vinyl. Every track takes me back to my hand-me-down Panasonic music centre in my bedroom, and the long, warm, summer school holidays.

One of the reviews said that it sounds tame compared to the band on stage
Its a fair shout in that nothing Quo recorded sounds like Live! But tame? I do feel this way now about Caroline, it does sounds slightly lightweight. Think live at the NEC 82 may be my favorite version
Remember when we did album of the month for Hello, and I also feared it would be tame. But no, turn it up and it still packs a serious punch

It's not tame - in fact, even now, when I hear the original I'm amazed by how driving the sound is.
