This might well be the first 'blues' song I was ever consciously aware of. Obviously I'd heard quite a few before that but I was probably too young to appreciate what style they were. It was all just music up to a certain age. There was no analysis. How things changed; and quickly! I love this. Surprised they never attempted it live, even in the early days. It's also unusual in that it's a Rossi/Young composition sung by Rick. Good decision Another 10/10

One of the best
In his recent book, Francis says "I got to be Eric Clapton for 5 minutes and it was wonderful"
Except, he doesn't sound like Eric, he sounds like Francis. Some play from the heart, here Francis plays from the gut, in his own style, and it's up there with the best of anything from any player. There's a real magic to this.
I'm not saying Francis is at the same level as any blues master you care to name, but here he is truly fantastic.

Didnt like it back in the day, but over the tears it's been a real grower.

I love this song. Does anyone know its background: who it was written for and why?
