Always liked it. Spud's drums make it for me. Something about the feel and groove he creates in the song

Always felt it was one of the better tracks on the album, although my opinion may have been somewhat swayed by the excellent renditions I heard by the Pirates when I saw them a couple of times in the late '70s

Never been keen on it, either by Quo or The Pirates.

The remix, the pirates version and the live version from the RAOTW tour are better for me, but, if I don't have time to heard the whole album, never mind of get rid of this and go straight to Rocker's Rollin'.

Sounds like parody, but probably isn't.

Let's Ride, Too Far Gone and You Don't Own Me are the weakest on the album. The only saving grace is the instrumentation

Let's Ride, Too Far Gone and You Don't Own Me are the weakest on the album. The only saving grace is the instrumentation Agree. Those 3 are not the catchy 'pop' songs the others were trying to write. "Rockers Rollin'" maybe straddles the two genres, rock and pop, melody wise i mean.
You mentioned the instrumentation - LR & TFG manage to achieve something different and unique in the Quo repertoire, but YDOM just sounds like such a bog standard riffy rock thing, very superficial, with nothing Quo about it at all. I'm sure Alan was pretty underwhelmed by it when he heard the production on it - sounds so weedy!
